I'm Shilpa, and every piece you see here started the same way — a hook, a ball of yarn, and a quiet hour once the house had gone still. I taught myself to crochet years ago, and what began as a way to slow down turned into something I couldn't put down. There's a particular kind of calm in counting stitches that I've never found anywhere else, and I fell for it one row at a time.

Loomé really came alive at the weekend markets here in Al Ain — laying out amigurumi and bouquets on a table under the sun, meeting people who stopped just to ask how something was made, and slowly building a small circle of regulars who kept coming back for "just one more." That's when I realised this wasn't just a hobby anymore; it was something worth sharing properly.

Everything at Loomé is still made the same way it always has been — by hand, one order at a time, with nothing rushed and nothing mass-produced.
